On December 9, 2022 the DEL 2 Team Krefeld Pinguine organized a Hockey is Diversity Game Day in honour of the International Human Rights Day which is celebrated around the World on December 10th.

It is time that our game embraces diversity in all levels of the game.
Players of Color from a total of five nations will discuss personal experiences of racism, the need for diversity and visibility of People of Color hockey, how multiculturalism helps to grow the sport and how hockey has to become inclusive.
Online Podiumsdiskussion am internationalen Weltfrauentag 2021
Am 8. März 2021 ist internationaler Frauentag. Frauen Eishockey gibt es bereits seit 1890. Die Geschichte des Eishockeys wird vorwiegend aus einer männlichen und weißen Perspektive geschrieben. Ähnlich wie in anderen Sportarten hat Frauen Eishockey auch im 21. Jahrhundert immer noch keine Gleichberechtigung erreicht.
