Alexis Kamewe Dongbou Atefack will join Hockey is Diversity as Diversity Consultant and for Fan Development

Alexis who is of Cameroonian descent is an engineer by profession. He is a highly respected leader in the field of social integration. As the Chairman of the Board of the Non-Profit Organization Africa-Forum Aachen e.V. Alexis established a network platform for African citizens to help support them with their social integration process in Germany. As the Chairman of the Board of the German-Cameroon Forum e.V. he established a scholarship system for Cameroonian students studying in Aachen, Germany. Alexis was also a Member of the Bertelsmann Foundation Leadership Program for leaders from migrant organizations who are committed to social integration on a regional and national level. In his free time Alexis serves as the soccer coach for the 1. JFC Alsdorf D1 Junioren. While serving as the E2 Junior Coach for SV Alemmania Alexis initiated the project that brought elderly citizens and his team together. Encounter with different cultures can improve race relations.

Alexis Kamewe Dongbou Atefack wird künftig als Diversity Consultant und für die Fanentwicklung für Hockey is Diversity tätig sein

Alexis, kamerunischer Abstammung, ist von Beruf Diplom-Ingenieur. Er ist eine anerkannte Führungspersönlichkeit auf dem Gebiet der sozialen Integration. Als Vorstandsvorsitzender der Non-Profit-Organisation Africa-Forum Aachen e.V. baute Alexis eine Netzwerkplattform für afrikanische Bürger*innen auf, um sie bei ihrem Integrationsprozess in Deutschland zu unterstützen.
Als Vorstandsvorsitzender des Deutsch-Kamerunischen Forums e.V. etablierte Alexis ein Stipendiensystem für kamerunische Studenten*innen, die in Aachen studieren. Alexis war außerdem Mitglied des Bertelsmann Leadership Programm für Führungskräfte aus Migrantenorganisationen, die sich bundesweit für Integration engagierten. In seiner Freizeit ist Alexis als Fußballtrainer für die D1-Junioren des 1. JFC Alsdorf aktiv. Während seiner Tätigkeit als Trainer der E2-Junioren des SV Alemmania initiierte Alexis ein Begegnungsprojekt, die Bewohner*innen eines Seniorenheims und sein Team zusammenbrachte. Nur die Begegnung mit verschiedenen Kulturen kann Vorurteile abbauen.

„Seit Jahren verfolge ich die unglaublich tolle und wichtige Arbeit von Hockey is Diversity. Nun freue ich mich, dass ich meine Expertise in die Arbeit von Hockey is Diversity im Kampf gegen Rassismus einbringen kann“, sagt Alexis Kamewe.
