We must educate and raise awareness to break down barriers that divide us. But you know the hockey roots are multicultural but this is a story that has not been told or is not known to the hockey world. Because it has been told from a white perspective. But hockey has multicultural roots. With all the racist experience that I made as a player of color, I knew that something had to change.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the INTERNATIONAL U17 HOCKEY IS DIVERSITY TOURNAMENT, a celebration of diversity, sportsmanship, and top-tier hockey!

Der interkulturelle Verein bekennt sich zur Vielfalt als Fundament für einen respektvollen Umgang miteinander und setzt sich aktiv gegen Rassismus, Rechtsextremismus und Diskriminierung ein. Ziel des Vereins ist es, auf die ethnische Vielfalt in der Gesellschaft aufmerksam zu machen, die über die sportlichen Grenzen hinausgeht, um so Menschen interkulturell zu sensibilisieren.

Toleranz

Wir fördern die internationale Gesinnung und die Toleranz auf allen Gebieten der Kultur und des Völkerverständigungsgedankens

Frieden

Wir fördern das bürgerschaftliche Engagement zugunsten gemeinnütziger Zwecke, wie zum Beispiel der interkulturellen Sensibilisierung, der Friedens- sowie Dialogkultur und sozialen Harmonie

Wir fördern die Gleichberechtigung von Frauen und Männern (Gleichstellung der Geschlechter)
